- hi; a brief follow-up to correct an error kindly pointed
out to me by martyn:
- the A590, from which road access to this industrial devel-
opment is intended to be taken, is *not* the single carriage-
way road running north from the skipton road-A6070-M6 access
road roundabout up to kendal, which the B6385 meets at crook-
lands: it is the "kendal link" road from the M6 roundabout -
and it is a dual carriageway, which significantly reduces my
concern as to the access road's being able to cope with the
increase in car traffic (though not as to the dearth of any
decent public transport links). [i was trying to work out why
the road north of the A6070 - skipton road roundabout was not
still the A6070, and completely missed that the skipton road
is not the A590, but the A65...]
- it's a road i've driven the length of numerous times over
the past three decades: <*blush*> i really _do_ know better.
- love, ppint.
