I just love the way the colors in this one play off one another:

Awesome. I only wish I was half as good at art as you. Oh, and being
able to run Photoshop would help. :-)

Thanks! And thanks to GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/) having Photoshop isn't
really necessary... but it sure doesn't hurt :) For myself... I've been
using Photshop for too long (started with PS 4.0, now using CS2) and have
invested too much money in 3rd party plug-ins to try learning a different
program.
Whatever graphics program you use, though, I highly suggest you check into
getting a graphics tablet if you want to get into digitally painted art.

Especially as the GIMP's UI is still so attrocious. For those not
wishing to splash out the $100+ for Photoshop Elements, however, I
believe Paintshop Pro still runs as a 28-day free trail.

I hear GIMPshop has a good UI.. it's the GIMP with a more Photoshop-like
interface
