Nope, they had a show. In fact, 9/11 conspiracy nutcases often like to
point out that one of the episodes actually dealt with a conspiracy
involving flying planes into the WTC (or something along those lines).
This episode was aired several months before 9/11, which they consider
to be "evidence" of a government conspiracy, or something (like I said,
nutcases).

All of his picks (except Harriet Winslow I think) had series - "Lone
Gunmen", "The Tortellis" (starred Dan Hedaya as Carla from "Cheers"
ex-husband and Jean Kassem as his current wife), "A Different World"
(first season featured Denise Huxtable played by Lisa Bonet), and of
course "The Ropers" (based on the British series "George & Mildred"
which was spun off from "Man About The House" which was the British
