I remember somebody telling me the band that made the theme tune music. I
rememeber that it was an american band, and it was a surprising one. Was it
the Eagles? I can't remember. Have this band done any similar music?

cheers

It was, indeed, the Eagles, who are much more famous for "Hotel
California," "Life in the Fast Lane," "Desperado" and a host of other
AOR-oriented songs. "Journey of the Sorcerer," the Hitchhiker's theme,
is almost nothing like any other Eagles song.

If you want to find it, it's on the Eagles' _One Of These Nights_ album.
