How can that be? I thought just as Clone Wars ended Ep. III started?

The Clone Wars officialy ended during Episode III (mainly due to the
fact that all the Separatist leaders were killed off), but no doubt
there were still a few clean up skirmishes after that.
The new animated TV show is set during the Clone Wars. It's possible
that the new series does follow the story after the previous animated
show (showing the stories of other Jedi getting to the planets on which
they were ambushed for example), but I'm guessing McCallum is AGAIN
saying something he doesn't really mean or the reporter is confused (as
they all are). More likely is that the new show simply tells other
stories during the Clone Wars timeframe, ie. it follows the idea rather
than literally following on from the previous animated episodes.
