The Phantom Menace PC game [message #262248] So, 07 Mai 2006 16:34

OK, i know this is one of the most ancient star wars games in the
world, but i still haven't completed it, and i like the game play. I am
stuck in this really irritating place in the Mos Espa Arena level.
after that little blue creature steals Anakin's ignition capacitor, you
follow it up to a room whre it keeps telling you it does not have the
capacitor. Now comes the irritating part:you can't converse with that
creature, so you can't threaten him for the capacitor. If you kill it,
it turns out it is speaking the truth. If you go back to Anakin, he
keeps telling you to get the capacitor back. Can someone please help me
out here??minus the sarcastic remarks??

Not even close. The original "Star Wars" game (arcade game and computer
conversions) would beat it by MANY years.

The Phantom Menace game is actually about the 20th Star wars based game
released, unfortunately I've never played it (although I have bought
it) so I don't know the answer to your actual question.

I know it's a tall order, but you should try to stop being so literal
minded about life and the things people say. It causes you lots of
confusion.

So why did you even bother replying to this post? Do you really have
the time time to waste?

Playing a game isn't exactly a life and death crisis. :-\

Either be a bit more patient (some people access newsgroups from work
and don't post on the weekends) or try asking in
rec.arts.sf.starwars.games instead.

Here's a question for everyone here:
What's the oldest SW game that you have?

For me, it's 'Shadows of the Empire' for N64.

I've got the original disks for the vector graphics games "Star Wars"
and "Empire Strikes Back", and the pseudo-3D game "Return of the Jedi"
for the Amiga.

I've also got copies of "Star Wars" game to use under emulation for the
C64 and the arcade machine emulator MAME. Plus I've got the Macintosh
version as well (no sound thanks to changes in the Mac OS, and it won't
work at all on the new Intel Macs, so that'll have to be used in
emulation as well when I upgrade).

Then there's a few NES Star Wars games I've got for emulation, but I'm
not sure quite when they were released.

Some lucky sod here has probably got the original "Star Wars" arcade
game itself.
