hi
Im trying to find a Star Wars book that I think I read (might have been
imaginary) about 5 years ago.
It had two kids going to a theme park with holograms and one of them found a
lightsabre
and got into a load of trouble and were rescued by someone possibly their
uncle. This
has been bugging me for a couple of weeks now and any help would be
appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Do you mean Jacen and Jaina (the jedi twins of Han & Leia, which means Luke
is their uncle?). I don't think it was a "theme" park as such but I believe
the book you're asking about is "Children of the Jedi" (???) or something -
or if not, then I'm sure I've read it also, (I have it somewhere, can't find
it right now).
I seem to remember it being that they found a secret passage to the sewers
of the city (Coruscant) and found a civilisation down there.

Possibly, but I seem to remember the uncle as being more the smuggler/spy
type
and more similar to Han than Luke but definately not him. It might be one
I borrowed from my local library (I know I don't have it at home) and I
think
I remember seeing the name there recently so i'll see if they still have
it.
There's always the chance that I'm completely mixing up two books one
of which might have absolutley nothing to do with Star Wars.
Thanks for the help, I can start looking for that one now and have some
reading to fill my time with.

Maybe the smuggler character Karrde - but he was no relative of Han or
Leia - had something to do with it - the one that hung out with Mara Jade.
I don't know....I stopped reading the EU novels a few books after the Jedi
Academy series.
I have the Heir to the Empire trilogy, Courtship of Princess Leia, Jedi
Academy trilogy, Truce at Bakura, Dark Saber, The Crystal Star, Children of
the Jedi but that's about it.

Its not that one 'cause I've got that one on my bookshelves and it's
something
about the Huts building a new deathstar (it /is/ a long time since I read it
but the blurb doesn't sound like the book I'm looking for)

I own quite a few but thy're tend to be ones the library have sold off
cheap.
Mostly I just borrow from the library, but then as soon as I want to reread
something they seem to pass it along to one of the other libraries, which I
can't
get to. If I get book vouchers they almost always go on some kind of sci-fi
depending on what just came out but its a long time until I'm likely to get
more and for some reason I can't bring myself to spend actual money on books
unless its one I've wanted for a long time.

God, that was an awful book. Right up there with Han and Leia's
honeymoon or whatever the fuck that was called.
