I have been in support of the decision that Eon have taken with their
approach to CR and after watching the official trailer all I can say is
WOW!!
However the only thing that troubles me is with keeping Judi Dench on a M.
Don`t get me wrong I think she has been BRILLIANT as M and if the films had
continued on in the normal sequence I would be all for her staying, but for
me it just completely screws up any continuity.
I know we are supposed to suspend belief and forget the previous 20 films,
but for me it`s too much with her promoting Bond from a Commander to 007
status, when we all know from Goldeneye that he was a relic from the cold
war and Dench`s M had a predecessor with whom Bond had a reasonably good
relationship.
Apart from this, it looks like a winner and I can`t wait to be queuing up to
watch CR in Leicester Square in November :-)

There has NEVER been continuity in the Bond franchise - how can you
explain Maud Adams playing two major bond-girls, or George Lazenby
being in OHMSS and saying "this never happened to the other guy". How
about the 5 different actors playing James Bond or the fact that he
looks 40 but was born like 70-80 years ago.
What about Felix Leiter being played by different actors or Charles
Gray playing Blofeld in DAF and Dikko Henderson in YOLT?
While it may be annoying to you, its pretty hard to pretend that there
has even been anything but a rather miniscule attempt at creating
continuity of plot/storylines in the series.
