It also kinda takes the "Bad guy is an idiot for trying to escape on a
crane" argument, and flushes appropriately. Looks to me like a tense,
well-done action sequence with little illogical about it.

Love the stylized shot of the swim-suited girl getting out of water. Hot
stuff.

Bring it on!

Also answers the gunbarrel question. Promising considering most of
the footage is from the early stages of the shoot.

James Bond. You appear with the tedious inevitability of a

--- It may answer the gunbarrel question [which I actually hope it
doesn't], but come on, shooting from the hip in a men's room? Kind of
tacky and reeks of an absence of anything clever about it. Let's
create some real impact here if you're going to introduce Craig as Bond
in any sort of effective manner via the gunbarrel sequence. Is he
going to be remembered as the toilet Bond - all flushed down before he
can even begin?

That's really funny considering the conclusions that you have spewed here
based on the smidgen of information that is available on the film.

--- If you recall, the crane sequence in the last teaser was a bit
longer than the quickie bit in this one and that one seemed to suggest
a certain absurdity to the runner having ended up in a crane. Again,
he's a free runner - why would he even head in the direction of a
crane, never mind end up on it with nowhere to go? You want to get
away from Bond, not trapped by him. So on that basis the conclusion I
drew has a certain foundation to it. Of course, I could be completely
wrong depending on the exact context of the whole scene, but we'll see,
won't we?

You obviously didn't read the script synopsis you keep referring to
enough times. The character Bond pursues onto the construction
site (and the crane) is the one eventually killed withing the grounds

--- First of all, you'll note there was no mention of a crane in any of
the script reviews, though there was mention of a construction site in
just one of the reviews of the three I read. Not having read about a
crane in the script review, but having seen the construction site in a
film teaser later on, is what led me to a disconnect, or misconnect, if
you will, between the two. An innocent oversight to which I already
admitted being at fault. More than any Craigphile would around here,
I'm sure.

First of all, I was just making a joke, no insult intended, and have no
idea what you're talking about with the crane and the construction site.
Second of all, I have seen very little evidence of Craigiphilia. What I've
seen is people optimistic about the James Bond film franchise who would
rather go into the film with a positive attitude, looking forward to a fun
experience, than going in like a miserable, cranky old fart who refuses to
like it no matter what. That's not Craigiphilia -- that's called hope.

--- Good joke. I think. Anyway, like anybody cares anymore, it was in
reference to what Mac said:

Mac wrote:

[He corrected me. I guess I naturally assumed you were following the
whole discussion in this thread to understand what I was referring to.
I guess not.]

> Second of all, I have seen very little evidence of Craigiphilia. What I've

--- It's not Craigphilia, although that's a good one and probably more
appropriate, but I was describing those in this group who just can't
get enough of Craig and think he'll be the next best thing to, I don't
know, anal sex, I guess. That's a Craigphile - Craig lover.

--- I have more important things to be serious about. I'm just playing
devil's advocate, seeing through the EON propaganda and hypocrisy that
appear to elude quite a few people around here. This isn't a world of
rose-tinted glasses, especially when this Bond is concerned. If I get
it wrong, I at least admit it, like I did with the crane/construction
thing - but you have to actually read this thread to see where I did.
Then again, don't bother, just take my word for it.

--- Good joke. I think. Anyway, like anybody cares anymore, it was in
reference to what Mac said:

construction site, which I've claimed all along that he stupidly ran
into a dead-end on the crane, which didn't make sense to me]

[He corrected me. I guess I naturally assumed you were following the
whole discussion in this thread to understand what I was referring to.
I guess not.]

appropriate, but I was describing those in this group who just can't
get enough of Craig and think he'll be the next best thing to, I don't
know, anal sex, I guess. That's a Craigphile - Craig lover.

devil's advocate, seeing through the EON propaganda and hypocrisy that
appear to elude quite a few people around here. This isn't a world of
rose-tinted glasses, especially when this Bond is concerned. If I get
it wrong, I at least admit it, like I did with the crane/construction
thing - but you have to actually read this thread to see where I did.
then again, don't bother, just take my word for it.

Sure you do.

That's because it's a forum for James Bond fans, imbecile.

Nobody cares if you admit you're wrong. We'll make fun of you anyway.

See, it's statements like this that make the arse fall out of any
credibility you had remaining with me. When somebody writes
that a CASINO ROYALE poster or teaser trailer looks good, that
translates into BROKEBACK DANIEL for you.

Pathetic.

He's supposed to escape Bond forever, is he? You really sound
desperate to find something to sneer about.

"Bond lives in the end? Huh, some dangerous mission."

I am now convinced, despite my prior reluctance, that WQ is a troll.

Pathetic is right.
