Overcome his shortcomings? Which ones? And overcome the "feeling of
having been offended"?

Nelson in fact DID offend Xino. It is normal and a sign of his sanity,
that he reacts like he did and interdicts Nelson to treat him that
offending way. In my eyes not Xino would need some help (especially not
from scientologists) but Nelson and the scientologists in the whole,
btw.

I have not seen any sign that Xino is depressive or has any
shortcomings. Obviously you try to give him a bad feeling, so that he
becomes interested in your "offers" to "help" him - or better said:
that he gets interested in going to one of your churches and being
captured by your cult.

That is btw. a typical scientologist behavior. That is how they try to
capture people, not only here on newsgroups but also on the streets, in
courses, in "seminars" and so on. They make the people wrong or give
them the feeling, that there is something wrong with them, even if the
people acted very normal. And in the same moment, they offer "help" if
the person would join them and buy their courses. A trick, nothing
else. But the more people know about the trick, the lesser it will work
in the future.
