What a fantastic episode -- and what a shame the series is ending. No
worries, though. We still have American Idol to look forward to!

What a wretched, decayed country we've become.

Because we like competition and talented people get musical
breaks they wouldn't normally get? I like watching Idol.

The style in which the participants 'sing' is almost identical. Doesn't
it get monotonous? They all want to sound like Whitney Houston, adding
'soul' to every word uttered. It's mind-numbingly infantile.

I agree that the song choices is very slanted and boring. But a good
singer can bring it life. Kind of like Trek, a good actor can bring a
so so script to life. (Picard)
