Not a cover version but a novel by the same name.
UK: Penguin Viking, 2005
US: Riverhead Books, 2006
There are references to FZ on pages 115 (also Beefheart) and 121
(explaining the book title).

A review quoted on the front cover uses the word "Chandleresque". I
wondered whether it would be justified until I read the first page.
"...my bedroom stank like a pub ashtray at chucking-out time... It
didn't occur to me that this stink was oozing out of my pores like
butter through the holes in a cheese cracker."
Okay, Chandleresque.
Be warned that the book is so full of cricket, rhyming slang, and
general briticisms that most non-Brits will comprehend less than they
might hope.
