You might want to warn people that the video you are referring them to is
56Mb in size. Some people might not want to commit to something like that.

I was about to ask if someone could quote it since it's likely to be
far too big for a dial-up user like me to download (especially just for
those few seconds).

Half the entertainment of it, is seeing Harrison Ford's reaction, and
mannerisms, as they are talking about it.
If I had software that will allow me to crop out the section, I can
upload it to my server. Anyone know of any software (free or trial
period) that will allow me to crop out the section about the holiday
special?

QuickTime Player has limited editing abilities built-in ... as long as
the original is some God-awful format like RealPlayer that it can't
open.

Yep, that's another God-awful format that's best avoided. :-(
Although it depends on the actual video format. QuickTime can open .mov
(well, duh!) and .mpg, and possibly with some add-ons .avi and .divx
formats ... but if it's actual Winows' own .wmv, then it can't.

Windows XP comes with some program called, uh... Win Movie Maker? I think?
It deals in WMV and can hack them up any way you please. Though it's on my
system somewhere, it's not under Programs... oh wait it is. It's called
Windows Movie Maker. I was right.
