Nobody does. I don't know how old you are, Vincent, or how long you have
been on Usenet, but even some very experienced newsgroup posters could stand
to listen to what I am about to say.
On Usenet, there are always going to be people who put you down and act
really crappy towards you. Most of the time, the rest of the group knows
who they are and realizes how they have treated you and others in the past.
The regulars will generally ignore these people unless they are making a
legitimate contribution to the conversation at the time. How one reacts to
the negative influences in the group can help determine how the others will
feel about him/her. I think most people would agree that you were unfairly
attacked initially. Since then, you have come back with some pretty
negative comments towards the group in general. I believe that most of the
good regulars in the group (which is nearly everyone here, BTW) will forgive
you for being so defensive after being attacked if you will just ignore the
trolls and negative people and only address those who are willing to have an
adult conversation with you. So, put on another layer of skin to make yours
a bit thicker and enjoy the real discussions about Star Wars. That's why we
are here, right?

everyone is positive
very very negative
Based on your recent subject posts above, you were throwing eggs and then
whine about getting some splashed on your shoe.
The poem was alright, so perhaps you just zealously dived into deep water.
All are welcome, but, the level of respect you receive is often based upon
how your light reflects onto others.
