......In both WWII movies, "The Big Red One" (starring The Late, GREAT
Lee Marvin) & "A Bridge Too Far" (starring Sean Connery...among others)
both have scenes where while the troops are fighting in France, they
happen upon insane asylums which play a small part in the plot of the
movie. But a thought occured to me......if these French Insane asylums
had been under Nazi control for 4 years then why were there even any
inmates still around (alive)? Were not the the "insane" number one on
the Nazi "hit list" to be eliminated besides the retarded, gypsies &
Jews???
