A New Picture and some other stuff... [message #247527] Mo, 17 April 2006 17:40
jkarrah
First,my latest picture of my oldest dragon teacher, mentor and
friend... Or if you prefer a picture of the oldest figment of my
imagination that's been flitting around in my head since I was 16.
Either opinion is equally valid since I could never prove to anyone
other than myself that he's "real."

Hand-drawn sketch, colored with Adobe Photoshop CS2 and a Wacom Intuos
II graphics tablet: http://ebon-dragon.com/pages/WhatWasThat.html

Then, just for your amusement, I thought I'd share these:

1) my very FIRST dragon drawing ever done in September 2000
http://www.deviantart.com/view/31894255/

2) my first attempt at doing a digital version of my drawings using
Adobe Photoshop 4.0 and a mouse:
http://www.deviantart.com/view/31894178/

And finally, I thought I'd post the link for some of my short stories,
some of which a few of you may have seen before. I really need to take
the time to write up some more of the stories I have rattling around in
my head.

*Gotcha!* http://ebon-dragon.com/GotchaStory.html
Times have grown dangerous in the Dragonlands of late so when a small
child disappears from home Rankith, leader of the Clan Guard, is called
upon to help in the search...

*Soaring* http://ebon-dragon.com/SoaringStory.html
The beauty of a spring morning entices a jewel-colored Dragon to spread
her wings and "sky dance" high above the blue ocean waters near her
home. But a sudden cry for help shatters the serenity of the morning
and leads Eirlan further out to sea on a mission of mercy.

*The Hunt* http://ebon-dragon.com/Hunt.html
J'Karrah awakens to a beautiful morning and an empty stomach.
However, her search for breakfast will lead her to an encounter she
never could have expected...

Great work on all of your achievements, drawings, and stories. I've seen
your artwork long before I even came across Draconomicon, ( not talking
about DnD, it's a dragonkin forum for those that may not know ) you were one
of the first dragon artists I came across after I awoke whom I every so
often checked out your site, never knowing that one day I would discover
that you were a dragonkin as well.

As well, congrats for the elfwood pick as well, it's a good houner since
there are many great artists there.
