For the plotline itself, ANH has got to be the best. It is the most rooted
in the hero myth and is why Lucas used it as the starting point for the
series. I will, however, agree that ROTS is a close second in that regard
and is far superior to the other five in terms of the beauty of the film
making. The newest movie is always my favorite for a while, so ROTS wins
out for me as well. How it will stand ten years from now? I'll let you
know in 2016.

I think i expected too much from it, I didn't really but how Anakin fell
to the dark side. He know's the Sith are bad, yet he trusts one to save
his life.
he goes from being a hero of the republic to a child slaughtering sith
so quickly.. I guess I would of like a different story. Not to mention
I thought he'd have a bigger hand in the destruction of the jedi, not
most of them getting wiped out by clone troopers.
best of the prequels, I might like it more then ep IV (just because i
find it rather slow at the beginning).

Not HIS life, Padme's life. Palpatine sets himself up as the only one who
could possibly save Skywalker's reason for existence from certain death.
