What Animagus form would you not want?
A turkey or a chicken would be embarrassing for me.
And I wouldn't want to be anything someone could step on.
Or a hairless animal that should have hair.
If you were a parrot animagus you could still speak to everyone!

A worm. One would have to spend one's time in animal form crawling in
and out, without even a pair of hands with which to hold Pinochle
cards. How boring.
Being a hippopotamus would be unpleasantly messy. And turning into a
fly would be a problem because I would probably want to turn back in a
hurry pretty often for self defense. When you're a fly everybody hates
you.

A dung beetle, or a shrew. I mean, how useless is a dung beetle,
although a shrew might offer more protection than one could realize
because it may try to screw the dementor to death.
