Hey Michael, if you are lurking here I really need to talk to you about
this FAQ being tied up in your name yet. I e mailed you and it bounced
and I am having no luck with getting you on the phone.

Are you on the FAQ maintainers mailing list? Ask the question there. If
you follow the *.answers team procedures, I don't see why you'd have
difficulty getting your version posted even though no one has shut off the
cron job that posts his version.
Read the FAQ about FAQs.

The problem is...the FAQ maintainers do not return any of my e mails.

You mean Michael? Really, he's not responsible for this problem. His FAQ
is probably posted by a cron job on the rtfm server in the MIT network.
You don't need a cron job on that server to get your FAQ posted. Set up
your own or remember to post it once a month yourself.
I've never heard any complaints about the *.answers team. I rather doubt
that they'll refuse to accept your FAQ. It's not necessary to have your
FAQ accepted by them but it does make it easier to find (by people who
are looking for something else).
If you join that mailing list, you'll find that the people behind the
scenes subscribe to it or are known by the people on the list.

Not Michael, the ones at the MIT network. I did try to see how he did
handle it when he got control from Panos but the e mails bounce.
I just left another voice mail, just have to wait and see.

I did go through the steps that Mr. Reed did set up for me but there
appears to be a glitch somewhere. I was set up on the mailing list but
I only received one e mail in the beginning that verified that the
ownership of the James Bond FAQ was changed. Version 6.07 was taken
down for a few months but then somehow it started the auto-posting
again. Could be a case where the right hand does not know what the left
hand is doing.

That's a known problem, not corrected for years. Don't ask for a cron job
off that server. It's not needed.
It doesn't affect getting an FAQ accepted by the *.answers team, which I
assume is the result you want.

Is he the current owner of the FAQ-maintainers mailing list? If you aren't
getting messages, you'd better ask him about it. I was on that list a few
years ago but unsubscribed.

I would like to ask him about it but his e mail keeps bouncing and the
voice mails I left on his cell phone go unanswered.
