Hello,
Has anyone noticed the nightly reruns are always the more recent
episodes? Does anybody have a reason why?

I think that Fox sells the re-runs in packages of three seasons. So what the
local station will run will depend on the package they purchased. Here in
the heartland, the Simpson re-runs are on twice and are generally about five
seaons apart - they bought two different packages.
Is that right Aaron?

Fox in Los angeles used to play all of the episodes by release date
("simpsons roasting on an open fire" being the first up towards the
more recent episodes)

The ones at 7:30 pm are advertised to
be the latter ones. I notice the ones at
11:30 are those too.
As for the 6:00 hour, I have seen a few
oldie but goodies on there but nothing
earlier than about 1995.
But, no... I have no clue other than that.
