Hey. This is the first prediction I ever made about Harry Potter back
when I was reading the Sorcerer's Stone. It's quite a tame prediction
and I don't want to spoil the books with more predictions using lit.
devices and motifs but I feel alright sharing this one, and I'm
confident it will play out. I think Neville will play a major role in
helping Harry defeat Voldemort in the last book. And yes, that is my
prediction. Before you scoff at my annotating skills, wait until the
seventh book has come out. *grins*

And you came up with that all by yourself?

Which is Pooter's way of saying, it's been said before, and not many
disagree with it.

Pffft. I've said that before. Others too.

Neville will have a confrontation with Bellatrix, not Voldemort. The
end battle will be between Harry and Voldemort. For the story to work,
no one else will be there.

Yep. Neville owes Ms. Bellatrix a huge payback. And I am quite sure he
will manage to pull it off.

It would help if you would quote some of what you are responding to.
Sometimes posts get lost and people never get the first one.
I would like to know _what_ in the first book made you think that
Neville would be important in defeating Voldemort in the end.
That is very early for that prediction; it's more commonly made
after the second book (when Snape gives him a backhanded compliment).
Was it when Neville attacked both Crabbe and Goyle together?
Was it when Neville stood up to his friends?

he'd better. Doesn't have to kill. Doens't have to drive insane. But
I want to "hear" her screams of agony.

Now that I think about... I think I would like to see LV himself killing
Bella? Why? Because that's something she would never expect from his
lov--- I mean, Master.

I dunno. Kinda expecting it with the sudden hatred over her failure.
Ooh, imagine if Neville reveals he's so powerful, he Imperius' V into
killing Bellatrix? Nobody'd see that one coming.

Don't give up your day job. Neville dies early on in book 7 and it's
nothing to do with V either. Also, expect to see a cracking sub plot
with PETUNIA DURSLEY!!
Come back to this thread in 2007?????????
The answer to your as yet un-asked question is no.
