As many of you know, each year the Internet must be shut down for 24
hours in order to allow us to clean it. The cleaning process, which
eliminates dead e-mail, inactive ftp, www, and gopher sites, and
seasonal pranks, allows for a better working and faster Internet. This
year, the cleaning process will take place from 12:01am on April 2
until 12:01am on April 3. Thank you for not logging on during that
time.
Please do not be alarmed if a little miscellaneous data turns up in
your inbox at that time; during the cleaning our bit-buckets sometimes
overflow. If you wish to protect your computer against this, just cover
your modem with a plastic bag (though for a winmodem, a brown paper bag
is preferred).

Aw leave him alone Kish. That was a "poor flail" on your part. Go "lip a

Tim Bruening is occasionally a bit obscure or even a tad incoherent.
The puns he is so fond of offering are often retchedly bad, but Tim's
comments are never "pedestrian".

_That's_ pedestrian!
