Very good news. One cool thing about the amount of stuff being
reissued these days is that you don't have to reach senility before you
can enjoy a second childhood :-)

I believe that those are not official releases. Someone posted something
similar in the MFU Yahoo group and the reply was that these were made from
VHS tapes off the television. Not sure if these are the same source.

Exactly. As I posted in an earlier thread here, that appears to be a
copy of the video taped episodes released by Turner about ten years
ago.
The one Vaughn speaks of will be an official version, enhanced
hopefully with both his commentary and that of David McCallum. I am
sure there is plenty of material out there to make it a truly special
edition, but whether the producers will go to that expense is anyone's
guess.
