I saw this exact thing at our local "As Seen On TV" store for $50 instead of
the $80 in the ad.

But the ad notes, "It's not a Steinway". The piano in the Star Trek
episode did a better job of emulating the sound of a real piano than the
finest electronic pianos money can buy today.
Maybe that's an exaggeration, since one can almost achieve perfection
with a sampler. Until you remember that pianos also have *pedals*. That
increases the number of combinations just a little too much...
Still, I'm sure it won't take centuries to more fully match that
particular modest bit of Star Trek technology.
