Craig to return as Bond

Daniel Craig has reportedly agreed to star in another James Bond film.

Craig is currently shooting his first film as Bond reports IMDb.com.

Producer Barbara Broccoli is so certain the film will be a hit she has
already started working on the sequel.

She said: "We are already working on the sequel. We're in the early
stages of that. It will be an original story but will continue part of
what the story is in Casino Royale."

Craig has come under intense scrutiny since he was announced as Pierce
Brosnan's successor last year, with die hard fans setting up a website
encouraging cinema-goers to boycott his debut as Bond.

--- This possibly hints of the first real sequel in the series wherein
the second film might actually be a direct follow-up to the first, and
one that just might go beyond its PTS. And of course, Barb doesn't
want to take this Craig backlash lying down, so to speak, so of course
she's doing the only thing she can to discredit the whole brouhaha by
announcing that they're already at work on the sequel. Talk about
taking out all the fun out of life. But anyway, it looks like there
could be a Bond out in 2-007 after all.

Not like it'll get all the Craig bashers to SHUT THE HELL UP, because their
opinion doesn't matter, but it's a start..

That spin doesn't take away from the fact that EON is doing an excellent job
in managing the publicity and rumours in a positive manner.

I can't wait for "Casino Royale."

PS - Was that "lying down, so to speak" another sexual innuendo regarding B.
Broccoli? That's so...curious.

there's just no match here for me when it comes to that same kind of

The "I can't wait for "Casino Royale" comment is in response to all that I
have heard about the film to date - not based on this single article.

Oh, definitely the reader blends his perspective with the message. But it
also certainly depends upon what frame of mind you were in when you wrote
it.

--- Obviously. But the sum total of what I've read and seen still
doesn't add up to CR being something I really want to see. It'll be
something I know I will see, hopefully setting my skepticism aside [I
already think I'm going to have great difficulty with all the jerkycam
stuff the movie will be using], but it's not hitting me as something
I'm craving or even just merely looking forward to seeing because I
still don't like any of the ingredients they've come up with for it.
On other hand, if it's all mixed in balanced doses and stewed well
enough, it might actually be a half-decent Bond. But nothing I've read
or seen has really whetted my appetite for it.

Well, best of luck. Pity you have to wait the weekend though.

I can't wait for Casino Royale.

--- Yeah, and I can see you and Tom snuggling up real cozy together in
the back seat of some theater on opening day all pumped up to get your

Ya know...it wasn't me that implied anything about your sexual preference.

Why am I not surprised that you have so little class.

You're boring. A one-note whine. And I'm tired of you.
