that it does not keep falling into his forehead like Connery's and
Flemming's did?
That must be just as important as it being dirty blonde instead of black?

Hmmm. . I don't understand the 'first blonde bond' thing myself. Wasn't Rog
blonde?

But the 'fallen quiff' you talk about is very bondian I think. Brosnan did
the best. http://www.posters.ws/images/981500/goldeneye.jpg
Fleming called it 'a thick comma of dark hair' if I recall.
Craig will be a tough, realistic Bond, but he's also be the plainest I'm
afraid. His hair has no real style, he looks like a plumber, not a playboy.
Looking at Brosnan's pretty mug on the above link, underlines it more.
But I think the film will be very interesting indeed, and he certainly has
the physique.
I feel we may loose the playfull, cheeky boyish Bond that most of the actors
portrayed. Dalton, perhaps, being the exception. But he was a good Bond too.
I'm rambling now . .

Well, there's never really been an actor who has had a perfect
resemblance to the character. Even if you found one, would he be a good
actor?
All that matters in the long run is that he can carry the role. Craig
has always had the acting chops, and seeing him in action is making me
feel pretty secure that they have a good guy to carry the franchise for
a few years.
Up until a week ago everybody was complaining that he was going to be
wimpy. Now the first video footage has pretty much refuted that
nonsense, and people have to find something else to complain about.
But I mean, come on -- his hair in the video is no lighter than
Moore's. Brosnan's was turning gray and he was dying it. Should that
have kept him from taking the role, too? Connery was BALD.
