3/19 - Bart Has Two Mommies (HABF07)
....specifically, Marge, who is busy watching the Flanders brothers (in
exchange for a computer Ned won but won't use) while Ned is away at a
left-handers convention, and Homer, who has to watch Bart and Lisa
while Marge is watching Rod and Todd - and ends up watching Bart get
himself held hostage by a monkey at an animal retirement home
3/26 - Homer Simpson, This is Your Wife (HABF08)
Ricky Gervais (of the BBC version of "The Office") not only wrote this
episode, he guest voices as a man who trades wives with Homer after
Homer wins a trip to Fox Studios (in a contest he entered to win a
plasma TV after seeing Lenny's new one) and joins a new Fox reality
series
4/2 - Million Dollar Abie (HABF09)
When Grampa causes the NFL to change its mind about putting a new team
in Springfield, the stadium built for it is changed to a bullring, and
a botched suicide attempt gives Grampa a new lease on life, which he
decides to live to the fullest - starting with fighting a bull.
STUFF for "The Seemingly Never-Ending Story" (HABF06)

Written by Ian Maxtone-Graham
Directed by Raymond Persi
Blackboard: none
Couch: The couch enters on a conveyor belt; Homer is added by a
mechanical clamp
Special Guest Voices: Maurice LaMarche, Marcia Wallace
Also Starring: Pamela Hayden, Tress MacNeille, Russi Taylor,
Karl Wiedergott
Additional Vocals By Michael Dees (the vocalist on "Fly Me to the
Moon", most likely)
Overseas Animation: Rough Draft
TV rating: TV-14-DL (the only reason I can think of: the "Munch My
Butt" message Bart sprayed on the wall)
REVIEW: B-plus - usually, I really like the "many-story" episodes,
but this one's stories were just so outrageous in terms of
established characters and continuity that I couldn't really get
into it. It would have been better had it turned out that Bart
really did make all of it up...

Is it necessarily implied that he didn't make any of it up? Surely he
could have embellished a great deal of it, but I guess there is at least
some amount of truth to Moe/Edna and the gold coin story (without, for
example, the "Professor Jailbird" backstory being real).
I hope I'm not getting into another FABF04-Snowball-type debate, though...

Point of clarification: Maurice LaMarche voiced Commander McBragg.

Don't know if it counts but during the Mexican Stand-off at the end
Maggie can be seen making a gun with her fingers and pointing it
around.. refrenceing her shooting of Burns and Driving off the Mob..

Quite.
My bad; for some reason, I thought MLM voiced Furious D in "Saddlesore
Galactica" (I may have been confused with Jim Cummings, although the
SNPP capsule doesn't credit anybody as the horse), and I seem to
recall he voiced Abner the pig in at least one episode of "Hey
Arnold!", so I assumed he did the animal voices when Frank Welker
doesn't.

As he is credited as "KARL WIEDERGOTT LOVES... THE SUPER FURRY ANIMALS"
in THOH XVI, maybe he provides the voices of most of the animals now.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure the ram "Mr. Bighorn Sheep" was Dan Castellaneta.
On the other hand, I'm almost never positive if Karl Wiedergott does
*any* of the roles I give him credit for. His voice is kind of a mystery
to me...
