I cannot explain it. After going to those web sites, I had trouble
reading my postings. I ran Ad-Aware and Spy-Bot and found 15 new
spyware installations on my PC. I removed them, but the two or three
postings made at that time by myself and others are still causing my PC
to slow down. I ran Norton, too.

I have often found lyrics sites to be some of the worst offenders in the
spyware game, trying to install all kinds of nasty stuff. If you use Firefox
(or really, anything but IE), you will have less trouble with this kind of
stuff. Also a helpful hint that you may already know of: run Ad-Aware in
safe mode to get some of the nasties that don't want to be removed
otherwise.

I usually find NOTHING when I do my sweeps with Ad-Aware and Spy-Bot.
And I do them everytime I use my computer. I was very suprised to find
15 items on Sunday evening.

I had to run Ad-Aware with deep scan and soft scan a few times. I
turned up stuff on the first two times on soft scan. Now it is OK,
evidently. With the spy ware off my PC, and the new belts on my VCR, I
am ready to go. Everythings coming up Xpac3 Mvx3vm!
