Have Gucci, design you hat using this circuit!
The device is simple. It hasn't been made, or constructed yet. But,
if you are in Hollywood, the electronics technitions, or engineers
responsible for repairing and fixing the electronics equipment can help
you to construct one of these simple devices that will really ruin the
Paparazzi's day.
Basically, the flash of a camera is used to illuminate the area to
insure that there will be enough light for the film to be exposed. If
you take a good look at camera design the light source is behind the
camera lens. This means that the film is never looking directly at the
source of light, just the reflected light from the source. Now, if you
take any camera, and take a flash picture of yourself in the mirror,
then the flash winds up too bright, and you can't see your face, hands,
or the camera.
So, this device can be made from any standard flash, and all you really
need is a photosensitive switch to trigger the camera flash. The
reason you need a technition or engineer to design the trigger for the
camera flash is to adjust it for day and night sensitivity settings.
Which, is basically an amplifier connected to a photosensor, and one of
two amplifiers or one of two gain settings allow for the switch to be
moved from a daylight setting to a night time setting. So, all you
would do, is point your camera flash unit at the person holding the
camera, and when the flash bulb in their camera went off, yours will go
off. The bright flash is there while the shutter is open if it's film,
and if it's digital, it's there when it's on. This produces an
overexposed image and if held approximately 1 foot below your face,
will insure that they cannot see you in the picture. Kinda funny,
allot of nightlights have the same kind of light sensitive switches
that would need to be modified to operate one of these camera flash
units. Get some of your privacy back!! Talk to your co-workers and
friends, and build one!
Wanna know if it will work.
Go, take your camera, be sure the flash is on. Then go to the mirror,
and take a picture.
1 nano second = 1 Billionth of a second.
If converted to a frequency = 1 GHz
Wavelength = 29.979 cm
If the switch required only 1 nano second to respond, then the light
from the flash bulb will only have had time to travel 29.979 cm behind
you, and reflect 29.979 cm away. If the camera is 12 feet away, the
shutter is open for between 1/125 of a second, and 1/500th
125 Hz and up to 500 Hz. So, if the reaction time of the detected
flash occurs within 1/100th of a second, it will have an effect. If
it's response time is in the 100 KHz range, or 1/100,000th of a second.
The Film will be overexposed.
Pick a film, any film, look up the shutter speeds!

Don't worry, it will work.
It could be encorporated into any stylish hat, and can't be more
awkward than sequins. There would be a need to be careful about the
temperatures that the flashbulbs reached in it. But, very easily all
of these hurtles can be approached and resolved. There is a ceramic
powder coating that you can use on a motorcycle's tailpipe, and it
would force the heat through the lens, and away from the wearer, or the
places that the flash assembly were in contact with the cloth that the
hat was made of. I won't hide any of it. Because, if Gucci, chooses
to build a hat with the circuit inside, the schematic that patent will
have their flash circuits, choice of transistors, batteries, and
battery pack, because, public access information here at this site, has
disabled any concept patents, and justifies any device patents. Device
patents allow many companies to make the same devices, like computers,
monitors, and all have different custom circuits to operate the
devices. So, if any concept patent follows the dates of any of the
messages in these threads, well, I am the inventor, and I made the
technology in concept public access information. This is my release.
It will work!!!
Not only that, the circuit itself has already been designed, and the
schematic, and parts list posted on the internet as a Flash Slave
Trigger.

This slave circuit proves that it works, but the lighting angles are
controlled by the photographer, not the subject, and the subject is not
pointing the flash directly at the camera.
A number of these could be adopted, modified or adapted to preforming
the same function by the same means. I would suggest the fastest
transistors you can buy, or highest cut off frequencies[same
difference]

Note: Since this device is designed to run on batteries. Run xenon
flash capacitor recharger unit in excess of 200 watts, for next
successive flash, and include a battery pack that can provide the
current without excess heating. Box of nine volt duracells. Total DC
charge, 250 VDC. Most people don't that the camera really has all of
that power running around inside of it, just be careful to properly
electrically isolate the thing in designing your hat, and your choice
of cables.

What a stupid idea!
So they'll just take the pix without a flash.
Most outdoor shots are taken that way.
The best digitals can shoot at night with ambient light.

Not to mention that the gadget he wants to build/sell you/etc, is a
standard photographers tool available just about anywhere for a few
dollars called a slave trigger. The poster is either an idiot, an
uninformed idiot, or a -very- low talent con artist.
