This week, I concluded a five-month struggle with my phone company by
finally getting DSL service. During that time, my existing connection
decayed to the point where I could hardly read Usenet at all, just
post the FAQ and scan the group for a few interesting subject lines
before it would drop. So I apoligze if I've managed to miss some huge
controversy that needs to be addressed in the FAQ.
In retrospect I should have made alternate arrangements, but it was
always just going to be one more week or so...
I did see the alleged excerpt from Italian TV, and I'm working on
getting independent confirmation of it.
