Watching them right now and all I can think is... it's a good thing
they deleted them. I am very surprised they even wasted the time and
money to film this mess.

And of course I should have waited until I saw them all until I posted
about what a waste of time they were.. there are some that should have
been left in. One in specific, deals with the issue of Barty Crouch
Sr's death, which appeared just glossed over in the final cut. The
extra scene would have given it more meaning.

went to get it, I visited my local Walmart adn Target and the Special
Edition was nowhere to be found.

I walked into my Walmart and there was a big display with hundreds of Harry
Potter DVDs but not the 2 disc set... so I walked to the electronic
department and there was another display with hundreds of Harry Potter DVDs
but not the 2 disc Special Edition... I asked the worker near by and he
never heard of the SE set... I asked another worker who brought me to a
shelve which had only 6 sets of the SE... and then told me that it cost more
than the others, that I may want to buy one from the other display...

my guess is they are pushing the cheaper 1 disc set. The 2 disc set cost me
an extra $10 but it seems to have enough on it to be worth it.

Yup I knew of the difference in price but they really needed to make it
available because there are those of us who wanted the 2 Disc Edition and
couldn't find it, btw enjoy your two disc special edition :D

???
Weird, all the other HP movies came in a 2-disc set at the price of a
regular film (usually about $20).

Maybe they're hoping people will get the cheaper one, then see the 2-disc
one later and get it. It wouldn't work the other way around.

2 disc SE was 22.84 plus tax... they had the 1 disc sets on sale for 13.84.

2 Disk is the one Disk movie, and the Seen It DVD game. There is no
2nd movie disc like usually.

I found the 2-disc set at Best Buy for $20.99. They seemed to have
equal numbers of all the versions too. (widescreen, 4/3, and special
edition)

Nope; they also had the one disc Harry Potter with the Seen It DVD game disc
with the big displays but they also have the 2 disc set like before.

if you still don't believe... just check out Amazon for a pic of the 2 disc
deluxe edition

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000E6EK3S/qid=1141800782/s r=8-1/ref=pd_bbs_1/002-4876943-1790433?%5Fencoding=UTF8& v=glance&n=130

The 2nd discs has deleted scenes, interviews, behind the scenes and more.

I went to Walmart around 7pm, and they had more of the 2 CD set than
the single one. And it was only $19.98. The single was $14.99.
