As the sun rose into the early spring morning a large black shape
circles above Alfandria on silent wings. On a tall peak along the
coast of the Western Sea, due west of Lurker's Grove, the dragon lands
on a ledge before a magically sealed cave. Upon whispering a few
mystic words the seal is lifted. The dragon steps in and ends her long
absence.
**Well... at least the dust has been kept down to a minimum** J'Karrah
thought to herself as she moved through the different chambers of her
old home.
Again she reached for her innate magic and caused candles and lanterns
to light and brought a cheery fire to life on the stone hearth in the
main chamber to take the chill off before going to check the lair's
pantry. She was pleased to see that the magical seal here was also
still intact and appeared as strong as the day she laid it in place.
When this seal was also lofted, J'Karrah was delighted to see that all
of the food stores contained within were fresh, unblemished by rot or
insect.
**Fabulous! I won't have to worry about going shopping for a while**
J'Karrah smiled to herself in relief. After being gone for such a long
time, all she wanted to do was settle down and relax for a while.
Once she was satisfied that all was as it shuld be with her home,
J'Karrah moved back out to the ledge. As she settled down, furling her
great wings tightly along her sides, she couldn't help thinking **So
much has changed while I've been gone. So much has happened. I wonder
if anyone will remember me...***
