Well, it's nice to be back. I lost usenet access a while back, and got
lost in the complicated mess that is Google Groups :P

Still, back on a nice free server, with the familiar Thunderbird.

*squees with happiness*

Found any extensions you like? Personally I couldn't live without
"Nested Quote Remover" and "Sort Extensions & Themes"

Eh, I'm keeping it clean and fast at the moment. I don't really use
extensions.

I don't either. For some reason Thunderbird is calling itself Mail/News
Client. Also a few of the graphics are changed. Maybe that's just a
Gentoo thing, though.

Now I am using Google Groups with Firefox(still). Please let me know of
any free news servers, and then I'll be able to use a decent client.

If you emerged it with ~x86, that's probably why. The Firefox 1.5 beta
called itself Deer Park for a good long while, although I switched to
firefox-bin when I started getting consistent compilation errors during
emerge...

www.teranews.com offers a one time fee service (I think it's back up and
running. Sometime ago they told me it was going to be down for a while so I
upgraded for ~$3 (good for a year)).
