Is it just me, or do they seem pretty similar?

By the way, nice work on the petition. With all of the news coverage
giving you such a boost, the boycott of the film that doesn't open for
another ten months will see Sony lose, whoa... about eight grand by
November.

The petition has nowt to do with me, I saw the gif in another forum, copied
the link, pasted it here and pressed send. I think that people should just
get over the fact and accept Craig is going to be the next Bond and it's
pointless making judgement before the film is released. However the site is
a giggle, if only for its ramblings!

Hmmm. I think that morph kind of worked against his theory.

Let's get over the Connery crap. I love the guy (not that way) for what he
did for the Bond phenomenon, but there is no other Connery, so let's move
on. Bring on Danny Craig !! Let's hear it for those who are willing to give
the guy a chance !!!!

After watching "Layer Cake" I can't wait to see what he'll bring to the
role. More crucial, though, and more of an unknown is if the producers
will stick to their guns about this being a more serious throwback to
Fleming.

Well, EON obviously agreed with me, too!

Brilliant!

Tom Zielinski
"...Bond's eyes narrowed. He knew, at some point, he would have to slay this
particular dragon. He settled back in his chair, removing a Morlands' three
ring special from the gunmetal cigarette case. As he waited for the
delicious Balkan/Turkish blend to take effect on his lungs, he reflected
that with everything he knows, the goddam movie is gonna be great..."

Finally checked this on my home PC, and it's damned interesting work.
Apart from what happens to the eyes and hair over the course of the
morph, it could almost be the same guy changing his facial expression.

If Connery had followed Brosnan, who's betting we'd have had the same
s**t from pathologically obsessive Brosnan fans (people who I'm sure
Brosnan would run a mile from if he met them in person, as has been
pointed out by JHause elsewhere)?

Best

It could still go wrong, and I've lost count of the number of films
I've seen which were made with the right intentions but didn't work in
practice. I'd still rather see people shoot for the stars and fail
than see them aim at the gutter and succeed. What I think at the
moment is that even if CR doesn't make billions at the box office, EON
shouldn't back down about what they're trying to do, and should stick
to their guns for the follow-up. Damn the torpedoes, etc.

This instantly reminded me of when Fleming was told (by Chandler?
Maugham?) that he should begin his second book before the reviews came
out on Casino Royale.

This is obviously a rhetorical question but..Does anyone here think
Fleming would enjoy watching this movie being made? I mean being its
the first thing he he tried to sell theatrically and all.

He might be saying "...
