2 questions for my fellow zappa friend.

I have an unrelased (?) LP titled.
"chunky ,ernie,nova"
zappa does a spoken intro on one of the songs.
I know how they are but was the lp ever released.
Is it rare ????

Also - why is there so MUCH non-zappa posts
on this newsgroup.
It really is sad, so sad. !!!!

The group was called Chunky, Novi & Ernie. They made two albums; you
probably have a dub of their self-titled first one. It was released on
Warner Bros. in 1973, shortly after Chunky (Ilene Rappaport) had
appeared on The Grand Wazoo.

You mean the whispering at the beginning of "Rosalie"? I suppose it
*could* be Frank, but it's hard to say, and there's no indication that
he contributed to the album. He is mentioned in the liner notes:
"Special thanks to Frank Zappa for providing us with a father image,"
over a picture of the trio in big nose/mustache/glasses.

Yes, it is.

And Novi of course is Novi Novog, who rehearsed with the Mothers in 1975.

In her own website <http://www.laurenwood.com/> Lauren Wood answers a
question regarding this:

"Working with my idol Frank Zappa was great! He was a funny and charming
workaholic and it was completely inspiring to work with him. The last
time I saw him, he looked at a new hairdo I was sporting and called me
Candace Bergen's stunt double...which I thought was VERY funny.
YES...that is Frank Zappa's voice on 'Rosalie'. How'd you know that?"

Thanks, Rom=E1n. And just for clarity's sake, Lauren Wood, Ilene
Rappaport, and Chunky are all the same person.

And her photo is in the Beat The Boots #2 booklet.

All three of them (even Ernie) have stars named after them on One Size
Fits All.

photo is?

Yes, that must be him in the photo along with FZ, Brock, Bozzio,
Estrada, Novog and Denny Walley.
