For those who are curious...I checked three bits from the ID version of
Farther Oblivion (FZ's guitar phrases at 1:45 and 15:40 and Jim
Gordon's drum fill at 5:42) against all of the versions listed in
FZShows (except for 11/10 Philadelphia, which I don't have) . No
matches.
(The ending is missing from the 10/31L version, or at least my copy.)
Add to that Charles Ulrich's info that the spoken intro doesn't match
any circulating version (the intros are missing from the circulating
tapes of 11/10 and 12/3) and it appears likely that the date/venue is
indeed "unknown."

Perhaps some more of the Waterbury CT 11-1-72 show is represented by
parts of Farther Oblivion. I count at least 3 edits in that track.

no spoken intro on the version that I have. The sound is so bad it's
difficult to hear anything.

There's rumored to be an audience recording of that show. Anyone have it?

Please cite the exact times.

As I mentioned a few weeks ago, there are ambience changes in the track
which would ordinarily make me think that there is more than one show
represented. However, there are also ambience changes in DC Boogie and
that is presumably all from one show.

Again, exact time references would be appreciated.
Here's what I've figured out so far about D.C. Boogie:
The full performance is 31:20 on my disc of the audience recording, vs.
13:26 on Imaginary Diseases.
The first 13:41 is edited out.
Eight seconds ("Now let's suppose you were deciding how this song should
end") are edited out at 6:54.
The last 1:43 is edited out.
If my disc is at the correct pitch, that means a further 2:22 must have
been edited out somewhere else--probably at the points you noticed.

I'll give this track another headphone listen soon. My main point was
that the ambience changes ordinarily would make me guess that there was
a venue switch - however, it's also possible that FZ edited between
different mixes of the same performance, possibly without any missing
music. (Another possibility is that my ears were playing tricks on
me.)
I can't remember where the ambience shifts were in DC Boogie, but in
Farther Oblivion I remember one at the start of the Bebop Tango
segment.

Based on a quickie study of DC Boogie official vs. audience, here's
what I found (time references refer to the official CD - the first
three I can vouch for, the others are approximate):
0:24 one bar edited out
3:46 edit of 4 bars in FZ's solo
4:35 a further edit of 8 bars
6:00 edit in the section in E between FZ's solo and the spoken section
6:52 edit of two bars in FZ's spoken section (as Charles mentioned)
8:04 edit of unknown length from the spoken section into Duran's solo
9:39 edit of unknown length from Duran's solo into FZ's riff section
10:31 edit of unknown length from the riff section into FZ's solo
12:06 edit of 4-8 bars of stop-time riffing and Gordon soloing
However, there is at least one bit (at 5:27) which sounds like an edit
but isn't.
