Erm what's that, the universe will provide a new MK piece? That's nice
of the universe to do that.

Well hey. The Metropole Orchestra has worked
with one of my favorite bands on the planet,
the Beau Hunks, so there's a stellar recommendation
right there. Go Mike.

Mike played this piece with the Metropole orchestra before, and what
I've heard of it on radio Keneally was damn good.
He's not the only former Zappa sideman that played with that orchestra,
George Duke, Terry Bozio, Steve Vai & if you can count them in Randy &
Michael Brecker did too.
Some basic info on the orchestra can be found here:

There may be a recording, but how to get it?
This is what I googled:

Message from Co de Kloet
Dear friends,
as the recordings and broadcast of Frank Zappa's 200 Motels and The
Metropole Orchestra Sessions with Bruce Fowler from June 2000 are now
subject of a lawsuit I can not and will not give a reaction regarding
the contents of the affair. Let it be clear though that as usual there
are two sides regarding the matter and that my view on things might
differ substantially from the views of others.
