I saw these few days ago, but they were only two pictures of Hagrid's
hut. Now, there are five...!

Hagrid raises chickens. Hagrid raises giant vegetables. Why not have Hagrid
raising a hut on giant chicken legs, like the one where Baba Yaga lives? ;-)

I'm surprised that now, after nearly a film a year, that sets such as
Hagrid's Hut, 4 Privet Drive (interiors), Hogwart's Great Hall, etc would
all be "standing sets" meaning they are kept "as is" and NOT torn
down/rebuilt with each film?!
(Granted, the Dursleys got shafted in GoF, hopefully not in OotP!)
This is surprising that Hagrid's Hut at least has to be rebuilt each time!
(I know that with the "makeover" starting with PoA film the original SS &
CoS Hut was probably destroyed, but why not keep a set you see in every film
standing, reducing demolition/construction costs each time since they're
only a year or so apart from being used?)
Anyone know?

It is indeed much cheaper to build an entirely new set to fit the (new)
directors needs than to rebuild/reconstruct/renovate an old one. BTW:
most of the real interesting and most expensive stuff is done using CGI
in front of a blue/green-screen. So the construction of a new set like
the hut in the pictures is only a small amount of money considering the
whole.

Yes, it has been known that when the directors change the new one selects a
new location for filming, for example PoA was filmed in Scotland I believe
because Cuaron(the director) wanted to, that's probably why the Hut changes
and will probably change in the other movies too.

Yeah, but so far, the hut and the Great Hall had been the same thing -
or so I had noticed - the only difference had been in fact the
position, so no excuse to 'destroy and rebuild'..
