*eyes light up* Are you saying you'd have a place for me, if I decide to go
out there?
Actually, I was thinking of either the Vancouver/Victoria area... or
Seattle... (Of course, I'd have to apply for a green card if I'm to live and
work in the latter area...).
As for dragons/otherkin living out there... I think Vilashna lives out
there, though I don't talk to her much; but I see her replies to some of my
friends' LJ posts, sometimes...
I have some really good friends in Seattle, which is mainly why I was
thinking of moving out there...
But I have a few friends and aquaintances who live, or have lived, out West;
and they say it's a great place to be... One guy even said I could find a
job easily out there... The only downside I hear of is that it tends to rain
quite often... But I've been to Seattle 3 times already for a total of
roughly 6 weeks... and there was only one day of rain the whole time I was
out there! The rest of the time was nice, sunny, and warm... Oh! And I also
hear the cost of living is quite high out there... But I hope the jobs out
there offer a competitive salary...
If you wanna discuss this further, you can do so on ICQ, if you still have
it... I think I still have you on my friends' list... So look for me! Even
if it's just for a general chat... {:8)

Yes, Vilashna lives in Calgary. She's one I've met. The other I know is
Hida, whom I haven't yet met, although we do talk on MSN.

There are lots of jobs in Calgary and area, if you're qualified. Even if
you're not, there are some jobs out here that are minimum-wage positions
that are going for $10/hr (minimum wage is $5.90/hr) because nobody wants
those jobs any more.....

There is such thing as an edible, nay delicious, meat pie floater, its
mushy peas of just the right consistency, its tomato sauce piquant in its

But I'd still be on my own when it comes to finding a place to stay... It'd
might be easier I find, at first, if I stayed with someone I knew until I
can get myself established... which is what I'm trying to do with my friends
in Seattle... So far, without much success. {:8/

Seattle's home to a number of dragons I hear. They have a whole Yahoo group
(forgot what it's called though).
As for the rain thing, having relatives who live out there, I can verify that
it does rain a lot. Not much in the summer, but then, that's why it's summer!
