I took a few minutes look at it and i made med cry. What in hell did GL use
during the production of this one. LSD or ???????

That's just it..... he didn't work on this project. At least that is
what I was led to understand. Some network wanted to do a Holiday
Special and approached him about it. If I remember right, he wasn't
interested but let them go ahead with the project, provided that they
foot the bill for EVERYTHING.
And that is why it was so terrible and that is why the mere mentioning
of it makes him cringe. When asked about the Holiday Special, he says
as far as he is concerned it does not exist.

Not trying to split hairs with you or anything, but I think he did say
that even though it was made he did not consider it canon..... I'm
thinking that unless he wrote it, overseen its production in some
fashion or another then to him it does not exist as pure canon.
Just my two credits worth...
