Weirdest quote:
"The tailors who fitted (Brosnan) state that, in his first Bond movie,
GoldenEye (1995), he weighed 164 pounds, the lightest actor to play
Bond. However, in his fourth, Die Another Day (2002), he weighed 211
pounds, making him the heaviest actor to play Bond!"
Can this possibly be true? Bigger than Connery in DAF?
Maybe he was trying to make his cheeks bigger for Scojo.

I'm thinking Connery was "unofficially" bigger than that. Kinda like in
NSNA when he was said to be 190 lbs.
No way.
Tom Zielinski
"...Bond's eyes narrowed. He knew, at some point, he would have to slay this
particular dragon. He settled back in his chair, removing a Morlands' three
ring special from the gunmetal cigarette case. As he waited for the
delicious Balkan/Turkish blend to take effect on his lungs, he reflected
that it was a fact that he lost 4 lbs.while at Shrublands, and God knows how
many free radicals...."

I'm not buying those numbers either. I thought Connery's weight fluctuated
throughout DAF, so it's hard to tell with him. Connery's looks were always
deceiving to me, he really isn't as big as he seems to be, but he was a
rugged, tough looking guy so it makes him look larger, if that makes any
sense.

I watched Brosnan in AFTER THE SUNSET (a paper-thin trifle of a
film) the other day and he looked distinctly tubby. He had bulked
up for TOMORROW NEVER DIES, but it never suited him.
As for his cheeks...

"Vargas does not drink...does not smoke...does not make love.
What do you do, Vargas?"
"Vargas is showing a little more cheek than usual."
