Okay, I've had it with Google groups.
I just f-ed up Min L Shaw's thread about Samantha Bond because it
refused to enter my response twice -- then put all three posts up an
hour later.
Plus, I can't kill-file anybody, so my screen is filled with Scojo and
WQ posts.
Somebody recommend a good newsgroup service, please!

--- WQ to the rescue! Under Options in each of your posts you'll see a
Remove feature. Click on that to remove clones of your post and just
leave the one you want left in. Sometimes it happens that Google
stalls or whatever and then before you know it, you've got multiple
identical posts up. Don't say I never did anything for you.

....and remember that you are only removing them from Google Groups, not from
Usenet in general. Most of us will still get the triple post.
