Hey -
TIVO'd 200 motels last week -
They said it was Premier !!!
Yes, never saw it on cable before,
and its great on tivo, to watch and dissect.
But, the LAST scene was changed !!!!
Didn't they ALL go thru the streets with torches
during strictly genteel. ???
hmmmn - not in this one.
My old VCR tape says so, but I'll have to find it
and check it out.
Any ideas ????

I don't think so. I thought that was during "Penis Dimension".
"Strictly Genteel" was just kind of cast call, wasn't it. Everybody
just gathering around the sets while Theodore Bikel and others sing
before the band launches into the Finale. I dunno, it's been over a
decade since I've watched that piece of crap (ow, stop hitting me).
I'll need to check it out when it's on again next week. It's better
than paying to watch the damn thing.

The torch-holding march is during "Penis Dimension". IOW, you're right.
I actually just saw the movie for the first time a month or so ago when
I borrowed the VHS from a friend and fellow Zappa fan. It's fucking
weird and rather ridiculous, but I honestly don't think it's _nearly_ as
bad as a lot of people have said.

I remember a double bill-midnight movies in Mpls, MN. It was The
Monkees: Head & 200 Motels. I always used to think they were kinda
similar seeing them back to back. Later that month was Freaks &
Eraserhead. I left the theater dizzy & had stomach cramps from the baby
scene & worm intestine pulling in Eraserhead! Freaks is awesome!

It's worth the price of admission if only to see Keith Moon as a Mammy
Nun.
