I FINNALY finished Eldest last night, after 3 months

IT was alot better than I expected. Starting off with a twin disaster
like that was something. Caught me off gaurd. Poor Murtagh though...we
hardley knew thee

The story switched back and forth between Roran and Eragon, so at times
I got confused but was still able to stay on track. IT was interesting
to watch Roran rise to power, and command all of Carvahall to follow
him on a dangerous adventure.

Eragon's training took up alot of the book. It's a bit cliche since it
reminded me a bit of The Empire Strikes Back, but still worht reading.

And we have another dragon! (can't remember his name ATM), so there's
hope.

Eragon was hindered by the injury, I caught myself wincing with him
when he was in pain. But when he got transformed, that was cool.

Saphira was unforgetable, liek she usually is. Her bittersweet attitude
really stood out at points. And as a result I kinda have a crush on her
^^;

I felt REALLY bad when she didn't end up with Oromis' dragon. But heck,
he was FAR to old for her. She might want someone her own age I think
*coughmecough*

Oh and the book showed that she lieks to drink as well. I loved the
line where Eragon said she'd clean out the wine cellar in one night and
she said "No! 2 nights!" XD, and we also learned Saphira is ticklish,
embarassing that a feirce creature got some sensitive spots no? *pokes
Draco 18s*

The dwarves and elves were themselves, but often they we're easily
forgettable. For a time I forgot who some chars WERE. But then agian I
was reading for 3 months so yea....

I came to dislike Arya when she shot down Eragon liek that. God she
knows how to make someone feel like crap. So I don't like her much as I
used too...

And the ending? SWEET FANCY MOSES!!!

HUGE clamatic battle in a no-man's land. Varden vs. Empire, what more
can ya want

Eragon REALLY scared me at points, like when he slahed open soldiers
and stuff. Saphira and him kicked some butt.

OH what's this? Another dragon? And a rider? OH NOES! GALBATORIX GOT
ANOTHER ONE!!

Sooo mega-outrageous-clamatic-Neo-vs. Agent smith-style battle betwen
Saphira and the dragon (called Thorn) OH and Eragon does a
free-fall-Anakin-Skywalker style dive off Saphira

Soooo...Eragon and the rider duke it out on the ground, and OMG! IT'S
MURTAGHH!!!

WHY??!!!

Well I'll tell you

He was betrayed by the twins (soo after saying that Roran kills them
with the hammer WOO!) and now is forced to serve Galbatorix. Murtagh
also reveals he's Eragon's older brother (hence the title Eldest)

Oh did I mention Galbatorix is Eragon's daddy?

Yup, BIG BAD GALBATORIX is Eragon's father.

A bit cliche agian, but still a twist

So after that, Murtagh takes Zar'roc and runs (YEA YOU BETTER RUN YA
WIMP! ERAGON AND SAPHIRA ARE GONNA KICK YER [at] $$!)

So when it's all said and done. Eragon and Roran are going to work
together to defeat Galbatorix

Dear lord, PLEASE LET THEM MAKE THIS INTO A MOVIE!

Okay, if anyone's reading this, read Eldest, it's a great book. And,
um, Eragon is Morzan's son, not Galbatorix's, I think. Also, for you
command and conquer fans, have any of you noticed that he uses the name
"Black Hand"?

I thought MORZAN was Eragon's father. You know, something about the
forsworn?

Also, I believe the dragon's name was 'eldest'... though it might not
have been.

Murtagh's dragon was named Thorn. Heheh... a dragon named eldest... XD
