'James Bond' director John Glen was arrested today in
Dallas, Texas. He was charged on multiple counts of
distributing copies of a bad film. Witnesses claim that
Glen was walking around downtown Dallas giving away dvds of
two of his Bond films, "License To Kill" and "A View To A
Kill". In Texas, the distribution of bad movies -- even as
free gifts -- is a crime.

"It's really shocking and upsetting", one victim explained.
"I have children at home! The thought of them suffering
through a low-budget, badly-acted, poorly-scripted, and
ill-conceived 007 film is truly frightening. I'm glad the
cops got this guy off the street."

According to police, Mr. Glen was giving away copies of his
Bond films because nobody was buying them from stores. A
spokesperson for Amazon.com confirmed the sales report.
"It's true. These two Bond films are crap. We haven't sold
a copy of either one in over six years."

You can be jailed in Texas for ANYTHING. Glen was certainly
responsible for good Bond films as well.

Thank God he wasn't giving out Moonraker -- they'd have given him the
chair, for sure.

They might give him clemency if he helps them find Mr. Big, Lewis
Gilbert.

I don't recall Connery using the "sh" sound until "The Anderson Tapes".
He probably got a set of bad dentures by then.

Listen to him say Pussy Galore. He's always had it, it just became more
pronounced as he aged. I suspect he intentionally over plays it sometimes
as it is his "signature" (or is that shignature).

I would just like to say belatedly that this has been my favourite post on
this forum in quite a while. Kudos, Mike.
