Since the emails telling me that you've heard enough (or more!) of my
music have dropped off, I take it you're all hungry for more stuff and
are just too polite to ask.

So, at my SoundClick pages ( http://www.soundclick.com/justjohn ) I've
just uploaded two tracks.

The Old Double Melman -- Never before online! This is the title track
to a CD I've been sending around randomly and will probably be the title
of the revised version of it that I hope to release publicly.

Few Worries -- Tense yet confident.

The category is "Film Music," largely because they've been going through
my head like a soundtrack. If you've spent 20 million on your action
adventure detective movie and have found you have almost no budget left
for a soundtrack, give me a holler!

Listen today! (Downloading from the site is probably the most
hassle-free. Streaming may require registration or some other tapdance.)

(affz'ers: No, I'm not claiming to be of FZ quality, or even ZR quality.)

It is FUNNY you post this today, because when I popped open a.s. on
Google just now (Thoth is uploading Susie and LNI shows), in
procrastination of fixing something in the ACE web catalog, THIS VERY
CD OF YOURS HAPPENED TO BE PLAYING ON MY SYSTEM. I had just marked
"Fenwick" and "Wanjo" as particularly lively for HoS use. ("Mallomurk"
on the other hand I put a squiggle next to, meaning, "murky.")

I had a hell of a time sorting out several stacks of hand-labeled CDs
that mostly arrived here in the mail during the holidays, when I was a
gone cat. It was tricky because in several cases I ditched the
envelopes the stuff came in before realizing that the ONLY
identification had been on those envelopes. I had a small box of CDs
sitting here all labeled "CD FOR STANG", but in different handwriting.
Sometimes they'd be so specific as to say "DATA FOR STANG" or "MUSIC
FOR STANG". To the SubGeniuses that mailed them, that probably tells
THEM all they need to know. However, those phrases generically describe
ALMOST EVERY ONE OF THOUSANDS OF CD-Rs IN THIS PLACE.

So I've been gradually sorting through these and labelling them myself.

Yours actually read "THE DOUBLE MELMAN - JUST JOHN - AUDIO" on the
outside and for that, I THANK YOU!

This ambient weirdmusic comes in many moods and has been nondisruptive
to work by, well, up until I started writing this. I had to turn it off
because it was making me feel like I was on Nyquil around Track 9.

Those who appreciate non-noise spazzdoktormuzeek should certainly check
it out! "Gryltose" is a good example. It'll keep both Gramps AND the
kids out of your room.

Talk about putting the "chronic" back into "synchronicity"!

Thanks! Yeah, Mallomurk will probably be trimmed from its 8+ minute
length when I do the production version of the album. Maybe to 40
seconds or so. (Tho I was able to imagine a radio skit of people lost
in a boat, with that as the background music.)

You're welcome. I've tried to make the CD format clear on each one ever
since Dino DiMuro sheepishly wrote me to say that the CD Decorous Garth
sent him sounded like utter noise and I had to reply that it was a disc
of mp3s and he should try it in his computer instead. (And, since this
is posted in affz as well, here's a link to a whole heap of Dino's
excellent music, posted there with his permission:
http://just-john.com/cn/Dino_DiMuro/Dino_mp3s.html )

Also, the mess I sent you (and polar bear and I forget who else, and
more will be going out soon) had that audio CD, a data CD of rather dull
but odd animations, a data CD of mp3s (some of my favorite piano music)
and two BOOT CDs, the dynebolic disk for i86 machines and the Kubuntu
one for PPCs (mostly included for the sake of symmetry,) so I damn well
better have labeled the disks clearly!

Listening to it now. I am on soundclick dot com too, and I added one of
your songs to one of my stations, Spacecow Fluffy Thingie. That's
always fun.

And now I've added one more: Segisto. Lots of busy mallet sounds.
