New message group reader and IE7 Pre-Beta [message #213594] So, 05 Februar 2006 09:18

I'm starting to use Mozilla Suite's mail and newsgroup feature because
some people voiced their concerns about my top-posting.

But on to more interesting news. Everyone knows how Internet Explorer
has been stuck at version 6 for years, and it seemed that there would
never be a newer version to some. Well, no more. A few days ago,
Microsoft released a pre-beta of Internet Explorer 7 that I feel doesn't
suck. If you want to try it, you can download the pre-beta from
Microsoft's website here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie7/default.mspx

I myself won't try it until it's a full version because there are pages
I need to go to that use ActiveX and I don't know how they'll be affected.

I am a Firefox fan, but I am also cautiously optimistic about IE7. It
sounds like it has a number of reasonable improvements:
