In 10 years time, george lucas might want to make more star wars, what
characters should he use. What I'am asking is how would you create a
credible jedi, and sith storyline. How would you fashion the lead jedi,
and the lead sith. what pieces would you take from existing characters
if you took anything at all.
what period would this be set in. I will leave you to embellish on
other details etc.

The premise is that Anakin would bring balance to the force by
eliminating the Sith. Thus, having a new Sith Lord would go against the
very grain of Anakin's existence. Something that George Lucas would
probably not agree to.

If there is a new trilogy, it would probably be the Jedi protecting the
republic either against an alien race, or a more efficient droid army
(imagine an army of Greivous), or a renegade general starting a civil
war.

An alien race is already being played out in the New Jedi Order series
so putting something similar would probably be redundant. Although,
since not everyone reads the novels, it would work out to those who
only follows the movies.

A more efficient droid army combined with a renegade general can also
work. But the premise has to be believable to work. For example, why is
the general a renegade?

Maybe he's a drug smuggler/slaver who has already been secretly
building an efficient droid army to protect his interests based on
technology gained from the remains of General Greivous. He rebels and
turns terrorist after the government discovers his illegal activities
and the Jedi are sent to arrest him. In the first episode he'd make
terror attacks against the republic, maybe evan crashing a hijacked
space liner into the senate similar to Tom Clancy's novel. In the
second episode, he wages full scale war and changes from a terrorist to
a Genghis Khan-like conqueror and almost conquers the entire republic.
In the third part, the remains of the republic with the help of the
Jedi finally rise up against him and arrest him.

Harrison Ford, Mark Hammill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, and Kenny
Baker would be back to reprise their roles as Han, Luke, Leia, C3PO and
R2D2. New actors such for new important characters such as Mara Jade
and the Solo kids would have to be hired.

He's not waiting 10 years. George Lucas is already making "more Star
Wars" - two separate TV series (serieses?? seriesi??).

jedi vs. sith storyline has already been done in the comics. all they've
got to do is adapt it to film.

I don't think it would ever happen, but Clone Wars would be nice on
film.
It would be kind of cool, to see the real characters play their Clone Wars
parts.
Of course, some things would take quite a bit of effects to pull off.
Did you know, Lucas Films used AMD Opteron 64Bit servers for most
of the visaual effects for ROTS?
Why did I bring that up?
Probably only to point out, even Lucas Films don't use Intel CPU's cause
they are just not fast enough for a lot of what's needed.
Anyway, that's what I'd like to see in Star Wars next.
Denny. ;-) :-)
