Bahamas hotel to transform into Liberian Embassy in Madagascar for CR shooting [message #211113] Mo, 30 Januar 2006 00:03

A popular hotel in the Bahamas is about to be transformed into the
Liberian Embassy in Madagascar - a perplexing development considering
Madagascar's location off the coast of Africa - for the forthcoming
James Bond film.

The Palm Beach Post reports that the Buena Vista, a 200-year-old
mansion with a legendary restaurant where waiters in burgundy jackets
serve charcoal-broiled lobster and curried grouper to such illustrious
patrons as Nicolas Cage, Michael Caine and Julio Iglesias, will double
for a location in Casino Royale.

Stan Bocus, the dapper Italian who has owned the Buena Vista for 31
years, said the old colonial building will be painted to make it look
even older when it is transformed into the embassy, where the new James
Bond will take on bad guys in the upcoming Casino Royale. Filming
starts there on February 23rd - and the paper's report will go back
to catch a glimpse of Daniel Craig as the new 007.

Note: This news confirms that the Bahamas will be doubling for
Madagascar in Casino Royale.

Sounds like I need to schedule a little vacation time at the end of
February. The Bahamas should be plenty warm compared to Ohio.

But the birds won't be as hot compared to Cincinnati!

I was there the other day, and I must say I can't bring myself to agree
with you on this occasion - despite the darkness too!

But on the way to the airport via Kentucky, now that's where the babes
are. You just gotta find one with a tooth.

I hate to admit it, but you are so right. I've lived in Cinci since
1968 (moved here when I was 2) and, while there are some nice looking
women (ugly old fat me wouldn't kick 'em out of bed for eating
crackers), they hardly hold a candle to some of the babes I've seen in
other states and countries over the years. And don't even get me
started on toothless 'tucky...

I must roam in different circles...

Yeah, if you think Bailey was representative of Cincinnati, then you
must be thinking of some suburb of LA. Jan Smithers (WKRP's Bailey
Quarters) was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley (North
Hollywood suburb), making her like oh my God a Valley Girl like.

At least Loni Anderson hails from St. Paul, Minnesota, a little closer
to Cincinnati, Ohio in terms of environment.

Now Carmen Electra (born Tara Leigh Patrick, a porn name in its own
right)... She definitely raises the bar for Cincinnati women. Sarah
Jessica Parker (Nelsonville, closer to the WVa border than Cinci) and
Amy Yasbeck (from Cinci) aren't bad either, but not up to CE's ultra
hot and ultra slutty standards.

Although most of the rest of Cincinnati's famous people are ball
players, presidents, scientists (Henry Heimlich and Albert Sabin) and
murders (Charles Manson), we do have the priviledge of being the
birthplace for Roy Rogers, Jerry Springer (put down that chair!), and
Steven Spielberg.

But Cincinnati is known for it's brains (or lack thereof, see Manson
and Springer) more than its beauties.

If you know of some place in Cinci to find hot women, please do tell...

I did find out why you like DAD so much... Halle Berry hails from
Cleveland. Now it makes sense.

Ahh... I must have confused Cincy with Buffalo. Or Peoria.

Sorry.
