Dear Tolkien-Fans,
I am a fan of Tolkiens Universe for a long time and I hope you'll be so kind
to give me an answer.
I would like to know the meaning of the three seperated letters of the moria
door in each corner and the bottom.
I guess the meaning is:
C = Celebrimbor
N = Narvi
D = Durin
But I am not sure and I couldn't find any answer in the 'HOME', 'Pictures',
'Artist and Illustrator' or on any
reachable website. Did anybody find an answer or do you think my
interpetation is correct?

There's a thread on this in rec.arts.books.tolkien that asks the same
question. I'll bet you're a member of the same German Tolkien group of
the person who started that thread. :-)

Hello Bill,
I am the same person, but my name has chanced. I couldn't get the
german group by "newsserver" (I don't know why) just with "Google", and
this here by 'newsserver' and there was still my old name and address.

Oh no... ! Once again a mistake. Sorry... for the incorrect name.
Sorry for this, my real Name is Karin Gruber, but I wrote from a
different computer with Google groups. I am not used on this... sorry
